1. Overview
GeoMine AI sells a digital service: satellite-based mineral exploration analyses delivered as interactive dashboards and downloadable PDF reports. Because the service is digital and consumes paid third-party APIs (Google Earth Engine, Planet Labs, Anthropic) the moment an analysis runs, this policy explains the specific situations in which a refund or credit return is granted.
This policy is operated by Ace Communication, the legal entity behind GeoMine AI, registered at 1st Floor, Khayam Chambers, PECHS Block 2, Karachi, Pakistan.
2. Pricing Model
We charge per area analysed: PKR 100,000 / km² (≈ USD 357 / km²). Each analysis is consumed against your account's credit balance at the time the run starts. Discount codes, institutional rates and government partnership discounts may apply at checkout.
3. Automatic Refunds (No Action Required)
The following situations are detected automatically by our pipeline and trigger an immediate credit refund — you do not need to contact us:
- Pipeline failure: if any stage of the analysis (imagery fetch, spectral computation, AI report, PDF generation) fails for technical reasons on our side, the credits are returned to your account and the analysis is marked as failed.
- Timeout: our 10-minute hard timeout protects against runaway compute. If an analysis exceeds this limit, credits are refunded automatically.
- Insufficient cloud-free imagery: if Sentinel-2 cannot find usable cloud-free imagery for your area within the last 3 years, the analysis aborts and credits are refunded.
4. Refundable on Request (within 7 days)
You may request a refund or credit return within 7 calendar days of the original payment by emailing info@geomines.org in any of these cases:
- You purchased credits but have not yet used them (full refund of the unused portion).
- You purchased the wrong package size or duplicated a payment by accident.
- The analysis completed but the area you submitted was over snow or water, the report contains no usable mineralogical signal, and you can demonstrate this within the report itself. We will refund the credits and rerun a corrected analysis at no extra charge if you provide replacement coordinates within 14 days.
- Service downtime exceeded 24 consecutive hours and prevented you from using credits you had already paid for.
Approved refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method. Card and Raast refunds typically settle within 7 working days; bank transfers may take up to 10 working days depending on your bank.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
The following do not qualify for a refund:
- You changed your mind about a completed analysis after the PDF report has been delivered and downloaded.
- You disagree with the interpretation in the report — GeoMine AI is a screening tool and we make no guarantees about the geological accuracy of any particular finding (please see our Terms & Conditions for the full disclaimer).
- The chosen mineral did not appear in the rankings for the chosen area. The platform always returns the most likely minerals based on the spectral data observed.
- Credits older than 12 months from purchase, which expire under our standard terms.
- Refunds requested more than 7 calendar days after payment, except in the cases described in Section 4.
- Discount-code, promotional or free credits — these have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
6. How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to info@geomines.org from the email address registered on your account.
- Include the analysis ID (or order ID), the date of payment, and a brief reason for the refund request.
- Attach a copy of the payment receipt or screenshot if available.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a final decision within 5 business days.

7. Cancellation of Subscription / Recurring Plans
GeoMine AI does not currently operate any auto-renewing subscriptions. All purchases are one-time credit packs. If a recurring billing model is introduced in future, this policy will be updated and customers will receive at least 30 days' advance notice.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a charge on your card or bank statement was unauthorised, please contact us first at info@geomines.org. We will investigate and resolve legitimate issues quickly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation, in line with PayFast and Stripe dispute-resolution policies.
9. Currency & Taxes
Refunds are made in the original currency of the payment (PKR for Raast / local cards / JazzCash / Easypaisa, USD for international Stripe payments). Any difference caused by exchange-rate fluctuations between the date of the original transaction and the date of the refund is borne by the customer's issuing bank. Where applicable taxes were collected, they are refunded proportionally.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and the previous version will continue to apply to transactions made before that date.
